With 2024 now behind us and 2025 in full swing, we’re taking a moment to reflect on everything that made last year so meaningful for us, our community and the entire Elders family.
2024 was filled with accomplishments, collaborations and celebrations that reminded us why we do what we do.
Each year we love to take a moment to look back on the year that was, remembering our favourite moments and everything we achieved.
We’re excited to share some exciting figures with you and the highlights of a year well done.
We Sold and We Managed
In 2024 we sold 12,117 properties at a total value of $8.4 billion. Add to that 19,051 properties under management and you can see why we were so busy!
General Manager, Residential Real Estate and Brand, Belinda Connor said
“Everyone across the network should be extremely proud of our record breaking 2024 year. From the outstanding contribution of our property managers, admin staff and agents we continue to demonstrate why Elders has been Australia’s most trusted real estate group for 185 years”
We Celebrated
In March we welcomed a record 730 guests across five Annual Award Evenings held across the country.
We know that our people are our greatest strength and we love nothing more than celebrating these talented individuals by bringing the greater Elders Family together for some recognition and dedicated team time.
This included 313 winners, 23 of whom were awarded Masters Club status, as well as 30 Premier and 83 Elite agents.
“We are extremely proud of the Elders culture and camaraderie, which is clearly on display at the State Awards nights” says Belinda Connor
We Opened New Offices
In 2024 we welcomed several new office locations to the Elders family across a number of states. Offices in Balaklava, Clare, Devonport, Dungog, Gladstone, Gloucester, Hobart, Kingston, Launceston, Swansea, Tamworth, Wagga Wagga, Wyong Creek and the Delaney Group in Victoria where doors were opened in Bunyip, Koo Wee Rup, Lilydale and Warragul. Lifestyle Group also expanded to Ballina, Brunswick Heads, Debbir Moore Commercial, Forster, Lismore and Wooli.
Ms Connor said
“Elders have ambitious plans for expansion for our franchise network, welcoming many new principals to our group in 2024 and a strong pipeline for 2025. We were also pleased to welcome new teams through acquisition, with our combined model delivering market share growth across rural, residential and commercial”
We Rebranded
Last year we delivered a full rebrand for the Elders Residential Real Estate Network, equipping offices and agents with a modern, flexible toolkit of property, agent and brand materials.
Alongside this, we launched Canvas for Elders Real Estate, a one-stop shop offering agents and offices a wide range of easy-to-use digital and social templates.
We ran two major campaigns to support this, one to raise awareness and showcase the new residential re-brand, and another, our largest appraisal driven campaign yet, where we gave away a total of $25,000 to property owners.
We Inspired
In August, our Leadership Conference Inspire was held in magnificent Townsville.
The event energised and motivated real estate business owners and top performers across our ever-growing network.
Notable speakers at the conference included Dr Richard Harris OAM, Sherrie Storor and Dom Thompson from Macquarie Bank, as well as Gavin Cooper from the North Queensland Cowboys.
The conference concluded with a ‘Bikes for Tykes’ team building exercise where teams assembled bikes that were then gifted to local foster children who attended the event.
We Trained and Developed
We placed the training and development of our network of the highest importance in 2024. We delivered over 115 training sessions across the 12 months.
We Were Found
We had 4,580,364 views on our website, received 33,462,151 impressions across Google, Facebook Meta and TikTok, and of course sold some truly breathtaking properties.
We Go Again
“It has been wonderful to see our agents, property managers, SSO staff and business owners thriving. Smashing records and most importantly delivering brilliant results to our clients. 2025 is shaping up to be even bigger and better,” Ms Connor added.
