Elders is investing in its real estate presence south of Perth, with the recent acquisition and rebranding of LJ Hooker Rockingham on 1 November 2021.
LJ Hooker Rockingham has been providing exceptional customer service in the region for 29 years and have an impressive reputation that will support Elders’ ambition to fill geographic gaps across Australia through strategic acquisitions aligned to the company’s cultural values and customer needs.
This change comes with the retirement of Paul Baird-Murray and will remain managed by Ingrid Feinauer, who says that she and the team intend to continue to run the business with the same level of customer service and integrity that customers have come to expect from them.
“We have been talking with Elders management for nearly 2 years about what the future of our business would look like – and it became obvious to all of us that the best way to ensure that you – our loyal customers – were looked after into the future, was to find a safe pair of hands to pass you along to. It is also very exciting for our team to be able to work, learn and grow the business to the next level, with the Elders Brand, that has been in Australia for over 180 years.” says Mrs Feinauer.
“What won’t change is the same local people helping you in the same way we always have – but now we can draw on a strong support team from across Australia that includes resources we could never have had to assist you in the past.”
It may surprise you but Elders WA, employs over 120 real estate staff already and settles nearly 5 residential sales in WA every day of the year.
“Customers will also get the support and resources of an ASX listed company with a trusted brand that manages over 10,000 properties across Australia and has well in-excess of 300 real estate offices.”
General Manager Residential Estate & Brand, Belinda Connor, says that the national real estate division at Elders has been going from strength to strength.
“Elders have seen significant growth in its real estate division over the past year, with gross margin up 33% on FY20[1], reflecting ongoing network expansion and high demand for assets, says Ms Connor.
“We are pleased to welcome LJ Hooker Rockingham to the fold during this exciting time for our business.”
